If you are planning to Visit Scotland - a perfect choice is Barndromin Farm,Oban, a delightful family run working hill farm - part of the Knipoch Estate. The Estate has been in the family since 1904. The farmhouse is set on the hillside overlooking Loch Feochan, with magnificent views and is conveniently located just 6 miles south of Oban - a ten minute drive. A vacation away from the madding crowds.

Our farm stretches from the beautiful shores of Loch Feochan at sea level up to the heather moorland at 1000 feet inhabited by grouse, sheep, cows, roe deer, butterflies, red squirrels and many other wild animals. There is fishing available locally too.
Jamie and Morag run the farm which consists of 600 blackfaced sheep and 20 Aberdeen Angus cows. One working collie dog named Flash, and an Australian kelpie sheep dog, Ruadh. We have our own hens and fresh free range eggs for breakfast.
